A Pint and a Pizza

People who say there’s nothing to do in the Sault are lying. For such a little city, the Sault actually has a very vibrant arts and culture community. Unfortunately, the days are so short and it’s so bloody cold in the winter that attending any of these events is a chore. Luckily I’m starting to feel the new life and energy that spring brings and I can finally stop running home after work to hibernate and keep warm. Last Thursday was pizza and a pint at Lop Lops and an exhibition opening at 180 Projects.

Below are a few of the photographs I snapped at Stephanie Babcock’s exhibition opening. The show is titled Marginalia and it is the second exhibition in a series of thesis shows by Fine Arts graduating students at Algoma University. For more details about her exhibition you can read her artist’s statement on the Algoma University Fine Arts and Music Blog.
